‘We’re excited to embark on this journey together’: PMY Group takes on KOJO
Events and venues technology solutions provider, PMY Group (PMY), has welcomed creative studio KOJO into its Group.
The strategic move will see KOJO’s creative expertise merge with PMY’s technology to craft ahead-of-the-curve live experiences on an international scale. The former’s brand, employees, locations and operations will remain as is, while receiving ongoing support from PMY.
“This is an exciting opportunity for KOJO to expand our global impact,” enthused KOJO’s chief executive officer, Stephen Lord.
“Our shared values, culture, and collective vision of creating unforgettable experiences align perfectly, and together, we’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible in sport, events, and entertainment.”
“KOJO has made a remarkable impact in the Australian and New Zealand markets, and we’ve long admired their work,” PMY’s CEO, Paul Yeomans, added.
“Their unique capabilities are a valuable addition to PMY that is both new and exciting for our clients and people, and we look forward to supporting KOJO as they continue to deliver world-class experiences in Australia, New Zealand, and around the globe.”
PMY’s presence covers 15 countries, with the events organisation boasting more than 1000 rightsholders, venues and significant events as clients. Specifically, the company has lent its technology and expertise to the Australian Open, Glastonbury Festival, the Brisbane Broncos, the US Open and more.
And now with KOJO’s assistance, PMY is better positioned to bolster the impact events and venues can have on the region’s audiences, according to PMY’s executive general manager for Asia Pacific, Emily McGrath.
“Bringing this combined capability of creative expertise and technological innovation to our partners and clients is essential,” McGrath explained.
“As we move through this exciting green & gold decade in Australia, the blend of creativity and technology is becoming more impactful than ever. We are uniquely positioned to deliver transformative experiences that will elevate how venues, events, and organisations operate across the region.”
“By combining our passion for creativity with PMY’s technological innovation, we’re ready to deliver even more impactful experiences to audiences,” contributed KOJO’s managing director, Dale Roberts.
“We’re excited to embark on this journey together and deliver compelling outcomes for our staff, clients, and partners by seamlessly bringing together strategy, production, creativity, and technology.”
PMY and KOJO’s new partnership comes weeks after the latter signed a series of significant sporting brands within Australia and New Zealand as clients.
