Whatever wins Youth Olympic Games brief

Whatever Entertainment Group has won a brief to create content around the Singapore Youth Olympic Games.  

The announcement:

Last week’s ASTRA Awards have been widely acknowledged as one of the most successful in the event’s eight year history. Now the company responsible for the production of the night, Whatever Entertainment Group, has been commissioned together with IMG Media to produce all the footage of the Olympic Torch as it journeys across the world for the inaugural Singapore Youth Olympic Games.

Media praise of Whatever’s production of the 8th Annual ASTRA Awards was as effusive as it was widespread,

Now the company is looking forward to the next challenge following the Olympic Torch from Olympia through Berlin, Mexico City, Dakar, Auckland, Seoul and Singapore.

Whatever Entertainment Group Executive Producer and co-founder Ean Thorley said of the appointment, “Our expertise is in conceptualizing, creating, building and managing entire events as well as overseeing all logistics, talent, design and production. Our aim is to deliver a world-class content and establishing the Singapore Youth Olympics at the forefront of international culture, design, music and entertainment.”

Whatever Entertainment Group have successfully created, produced content for clients around SE Asia and Australia. Most recently they managed the ION launch on Orchard Road featuring US singer, Carrie Underwood. For television they have produced Nigerian Television Music Talent Event and South African Music Talent Reality Television series, Advance Warning among many more.

Before founding Whatever, Thorley worked in Executive Production roles across MTV Australia and New Zealand where he produced the MTV Australia Video Music Awards for their first four years, MTV Networks Asia, Urbanchillers Films in London as well as having previous experience with MTV Networks Europe and MTV/VH-1 Networks in London.

Whatever Entertainment Group will be co-producing with IMG Media.
