Wiggles heal the world
So who were the real heroes of 9/11?
The Wiggles of course.
Very modestly, they’ve created a video explaining how they healed America.

I always knew they were intrinsically creepy.
Skivvy-wearing rubber faced jerks.

If you don’t have the balls to put your real name to the comment, don’t get personal. I think we know who the real jerk is!

They aren’t trying to claim they healed America! Just stating how awful the time was and how they showed their support for America and stood with America – supporting their strength and the people’s unification. They remained positive and not deterred by the shocking events. For those that remain, life goes on and the wiggles showed that terrorism isn’t going to rob the world of all normality. The wiggles are a cheery, vibrant children’s group and they used the power that they have, to make kids smile and laugh at a time where everyone really could use a smile and a laugh.

@Samantha – I agree, but why did they need to make a promotional video about it?

I agree with Samantha, forgot about all the loony tunes and hysterical types around, good on the Wiggles for showing their support.

OK.
Can someone please explain to me how The Wiggles end up being the bad guys when they clearly helped at least one family directly – and probably countless millions of others – during this awful point in human history? Since when is extending a helping hand or a shoulder of compassion not the done thing?

As Publicist for The Wiggles, we did not release a “promotional video” of the 9/11 visit. We released a DVD celebrating our 20th Birthday called “The Wiggles Big Birthday” It included a special feature called “Everybody Clap, Everybody Sing” which is The Wiggles themselves talking about the highlights of their 20 years together. One of those highlights was meeting the New York firefighters and their families. This meeting was a great honour for Anthony, Murray, Greg and Jeff and affected them deeply which is why they talk about it as part of the 20 year feature. Thank you to those of you who have seen this story for what it is – an attempt to make an other-wise honest, hard-working philanthropic group of entertainers into something else for ratings.
