Wilfred whimpers, solid finale for Go Back To Where You Came From

The US version of Wilfred, the Australian comedy about a man in a dogsuit, failed to make it into the top fifty most-watched shows last night, pulling in 202,000 in the 9.30pm slot on digital channel Eleven, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam.

The follow-up show to SBS’ hit doco Go Back To Where You Came From – on which self-confessed racist Raquel Moore admitted to being hounded by “Bogan” and “Westie” comments on the SBS website – held its audience fairly well. It pulled in 516,000, although this was the lowest audience of the four episodes, which peaked at 600,000 last Thursday night.

Just 50,000 viewers separated the most-watched and number two show of the night, with Ten’s Masterchef on top with 1.688m followed by 1.638m for Seven’s Australia’s Got Talent.

Nine’s The Block rated well again, pulling 1.337m, but down slightly on Monday night when 1.440m tuned in.
