WIN Tasmania axes local news production with Wollongong move

WIN News Hobart will no longer produce its weeknight bulletins from Tasmania, with the network set to consolidate in a ‘central presentation location’ in New South Wales.

From August 17, WIN News’ weeknight bulletin, which is presented from Hobart, will be prepared and presented in Wollongong, based on content supplied from Tasmania.

Lucy Breaden and Brent Costelloe are currently the local newsreaders

Our local news is getting worse every day but to not have a News program on Christmas Day was the last straw, and the to put that Russel D….….d on at 6pm on Christmas day was just about as low as you can get. You have lost me
