Woolies appoints Keshnee Kemp for new content role

Woolworths Group has announced the appointment of a new head of branded content.

Keshnee Kemp will take on the role, reporting to Nick Chapman, Woolworths director of brand expression.

Kemp joins from Are Media (formerly Pacific Magazine/Bauer Media) where she was head of video. As part of the new role, she will lead a team to curate, produce and distribute branded content across Woolworths’ Australian Food business.

“As customers look for more and more inspiration, providing fresh ideas for what to eat and how to cook has become more important than ever for Woolworths,” said Chapman.

Keshnee Kemp joins Woolworths in the newly created content role.

“Keshnee will accelerate how we meet that rapidly growing appetite with a key emphasis on digital channels and experiences.”

Woolworths branded content is primarily distributed in digital channels such as the Woolworths website, apps, social media, digital media, eDM, store screens and digital catalogue, but also in physical form through the Fresh Magazine, catalogues and other materials.

Keshnee’s role will also see her take leadership of Woolworths’ Fresh Magazine.
