To me it certainly looks like Woolies has learnt a lot from the Qantas (and previously Telstra) corporate affairs case studies. Ensure the soon to be departing foreign CEO looks like an out-of-touch dill, then make him the scapegoat responsible for all the current troubles once the new CEO takes over.
