Woolworths relaunches Fresh Market Update series

Supermarket giant Woolworths has relaunched its Fresh Market Update series giving seasonal information on Australian fruits and vegetables.

The series features Woolworths employees travelling around Australia to meet growers and farmers.

Created by M&C Saatchi, the first television ad features northern NSW blueberry farmer, Harry Sohi.

Paul Turner, a Woolworths produce manager and a food academy trainer talk about the climate being cooler than expected and how Sohi is excepting 50% more fruit than last year.

Andrew Hicks, Woolworths director of marketing, said in a statement: “We know that our customers are looking for ways to make better food choices and to have all the information and fresh food inspiration that they need.

“Fresh Market Update aims to inform and educate customers so that they are aware of what’s in season and to also highlight the latest news from growers across the country.”
