Worksense appoints The Works

Industrial clothing brand Worksense has appointed The Works to its Workwear and Safety account.   The announcement:

SYDNEY, 23 JUNE 2010: The Works has been appointed to the Worksense Workwear and Safety account after a competitive pitch, based on the strength of their strategic and creative presentation which will form the basis of a new national campaign for the brand.

Worksense has briefed The Works to make them Australia’s next iconic brand.

Jason Varone, Chief Operating Officer at Jeminex, said: “The brand Worksense will become an Australian household name for its distinct high quality and cutting edge technology in the Australian market.

“We have chosen The Works for this task, we believe the ideas they presented have the power to help us continue growing our brand.”

Damian Pincus, partner at The Works, said the account is a rarity in advertising, for two reasons.

“It’s rare that the creative presented in a pitch ever sees the light of day, but our pitch is going to become the first campaign for Worksense,” Pincus said.

“And better than that, the brief to create an Australian household name is every agency’s dream, and most importantly the Worksense product lives up to the claim.”

The first campaign by The Works for Worksense will be launching in three weeks.
