World Expeditions appoints travel industry veteran Virginia Haddon as PR manager

World Expeditions Travel Group has appointed Virginia Haddon as the PR manager for three of its adventure travel brands.

Haddon has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry and joins WETG on a part-time basis whilst also running her own consultancy, Cascade Communications.

Haddon has worked with a number of travel brands

Through Cascade Communications, Haddon has worked with the Noosa International Food and Wine Festival, Visit Scotland and Visit USA.

Prior to founding her consultancy in 2013, Haddon spent eight years as the general manager of Ink Publicity, working with a variety of travel and lifestyle brands including Trip Advisor, Swiss International Airlines and Tourism Australia.

In her new position at the WETG, Haddon will be managing PR for European active travel brand UTracks, charity brand Huma Charity Challenge and World Youth Adventures.

“I’m delighted to be working with such a well-respected company and I’m looking forward to contributing to the continuing growth of these exciting and dynamic brands,” Haddon said in a statement.
