News World Movies Channel hunts budding B-grade movie makers January 12, 2010 12:08 by Tim Burrowes The World Movies Channel has launched a competition inviting budding filmmakers to submit their B-grade movie or movie idea for the chance to have it broadcast on the channel. The channel has launched the competition to create awareness around its B-Invasion programming season which showcases the forgotten B-grade horror films from the 50s and 60s throughout December and January.Digital agency @www has developed an integrated promotional site and interactive competition in support of the programming season.The competition is being sponsored by Palace Cinemas, Bang & Olufsen, and Foxtel which are also providing prizes for runner up entries.ADVERTISEMENT Entries have already been posted on YouTube.
