Wrigley promotes marketing director Alison Levins to regional role in reshuffle

Alison Levins promoted to lead marketing role at Wrigley

Levins: Keen to continue the international influence of Australian creative ideas

Mars has promoted marketing manager for gum, Alison Levins to the role of regional marketing director for its Wrigley Pacific division.

Levin replaces Tami Cunningham, who exited the role in April.

Cunningham had been in the Wrigley marketing role since 2013 following almost a decade at Lion.

Levins joined Mars in 2013 as acting marketing director, before moving to the Mars master brand and then to the role leading the gum lines.

Previously, Levins worked at Unilever and Nestlé in Ireland, in both commercial and marketing roles.

Patrick Gantier, general manager of Wrigley Pacific, said the promotion was a credit to the creativity Levins had brought to her previous roles.

“Alison’s experience, energy and creativity have played a significant role in our growth strategy for the Pacific business,” Gantier said.

“Her appointment is testament to her strong ability to collaborate and the results she has delivered across a number of key portfolio and category projects.”

Levins said she was keen to continue the international influence that Australian creative ideas have had on Wrigley brands.

“I’m excited to continue my career journey with Wrigley and bring a fresh perspective to the role. As a team we have a lot to be proud of and I want to ensure we continue to explore the innovative ideas that have put our Pacific business on the map,” Levins said.

“Products such as Eclipse Chewy Mints and campaigns such as ‘Eat, Drink, Chew’ were all developed here in Australia and have proven to be a great success internationally.”

As part of the new role Levins will join the APAC marketing leadership team and will also be a member of a number of global brand boards.
