Wunderman Australia ECD Matt Batten takes top creative role in the UK

The ECD of Wunderman Australia, Matt Batten, is to move to the Y&R-owned below-the-line network’s UK office to lead the creative department there.

He takes on the role of chief creative officer of Wunderman UK, bringing to an end a four-year stint as creative head of Wunderman Australia.

It is unclear who will replace him as ECD, but Wunderman Australia said an announcement would be made in the new year.

Matt’s been instrumental in building Wunderman’s foundations and its creative excellence in Australia. Transitioning to the UK is a great example of the benefit our people can achieve from being part of our global network”.
