Wunderman Thompson wins tender for WA Department of Fire and Emergency Services creative account

Wunderman Thompson has won a tender issued by the Western Australian Department of Fire and Emergency Services for creative agency services.

The $1.5m Perth-based account was awarded last month, with an initial term of one year and a ‘final expiry date’ of 8 April 2024.

The WA Department of Fire and Emergency Services received 10 submissions, in response to the brief that it was “seeking a single integrated creative services agency to provide strategic marketing and corporate communications, creative advertising, graphic design and related services to develop communications projects on an ‘as required’ basis”.

WPP agencies JWT and Wunderman merged to create Wunderman Thompson late last year, led by Mel Edwards.

The agency unveiled its new branding in February, and last month won the Duracell account.
