X Factor on the up for Seven

Talent contest The X Factor improved to third for the night, while its ratings moved above 1.3m for Seven on Monday.

The show rated 1.307m, up on Sunday night’s fifth place with 1.287m.  

As well as a night-on-night improvement, it also saw a week-on-week lift – up from last Monday’s debut of 1.186m.

The X Factor also saw off its timeslot competitors.

Nine’s US sitcom Hot In Cleveland has continued to fade – down to 813,000, 19th for the night, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTam. The network’s double episode of Two And A Half Men rated 1.089m and 1.037m. Rescue Special Ops also faltered with 848,000 viewers.

Ten’s Undercover Boss held up slightly better against The X Factor – averaging 1.075m. Good News Week averaged 937,000.
