X Factor sees off Australia’s Got Talent in the ratings for third week running
The X Factor’s live performance show widened the gap on Nine’s Australia’s Got Talent on Sunday.
According t0 preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTAM, Seven’s The X Factor was top show for the night, with 1.522m viewers. AGT was fifth with 1.183m.
The gap of 339,000 is double last week’s 170,000 and ahead of the opening week margin of 270,000.
The two talent contests, squeezed Ten’s reality cooking show Masterchef, which rated just 716,000. Masterchef is entering the final week of the current series.
Ten’s British period drama Ripper Street rated 472,000. Nine’s local period drama Underbelly: Squizzy rated 782,000.
Seven had a 27.3 per cent share of viewing, ahead of Nine’s 21.4 per cent, ABC1’s 11.4 per cent and Ten’s 10.6 per cent. Nine’s Gem saw its last big boost of the Ashes series with a 4.7 per cent share.
