Xugar announces two new appointments

Melbourne based digital agency Xugar has announced two new hires from Google and Altran.

The announcement:

One of Melbourne’s fastest growing digital agencies, Xugar, has this year appointed outstanding talent from multinational technology company Google and Altran, a blue chip world leader in engineering and research and development services.

Previously an Account Strategist in the advertising department of mega tech firm Google, Sushma Kollu has come on board as Paid Ads Manager for Xugar where her duties will include designing optimal paid search campaigns, launching various pay-per-click advertising campaigns and overseeing accounts on search platforms like Google Ads and Bing.

Ms Kollu has exposure to working for some of the biggest clients in the world like Ebay who she says “face challenges supporting their rapidly growing base of customers.

“I’m excited to be a part of an energetic and experienced team at Xugar and look forward to putting my skills and knowledge from my previous roles at work in helping clients achieve their digital goals,” said Ms Kollu.

Former Client Executive for bluechip global organisation Altran, Alok Srivastava, has joined Xugar as Production Manager. Specialising in software, telco and financial services, Mr Srivastava will oversee smooth deployment of various development projects including advanced ecommerce and custom applications.

“I look forward to assisting Xugar’s clients with their digital transformation journey and ensuring they get the best outcomes from their digital marketing investments,” said Mr Srivastava.

Founding director of Xugar, Sagar Sethi, says “having an experienced team of digital experts with a diverse range of skill sets and experience is essential in our agency’s growth path.”

Mr Sethi founded Xugar in 2017 with little more than a laptop, phone and dedicated passion and knowledge for IT and digital marketing. The agency has this year ticked over $1 million in revenue.

“The majority of our work comes from referrals which I like to see as a clear indication of satisfied clients,” said Mr Sethi.

“These days, there are unfortunately many digital agencies flooding the market that do not show real-life results for their clients – at Xugar, we believe in transparency and visible progress.

“During COVID, we launched a dashboard for our clients to be able to access progress, analytics and other key insights. We aren’t happy to sit behind a headset and just say we’re doing a bunch of work, like some agencies do – we want to actually help our clients grow their business.

“We have just created our second “million dollar client” – helping businesses and fellow entrepreneurs grow their revenue through digital marketing is our goal. It is, to say the least, very rewarding,” said Mr Sethi.
