Yahoo Finance launches first Australian consumer campaign

Yahoo Finance has launched its first ever Australian consumer marketing campaign.

The campaign, which is running across out of home and digital channels, encourages people to work hard for their money and ‘make money work’.

One of the outdoor executions

In a series of outdoor executions, Yahoo Finance turns situations of luck into situations where people have to work hard for their money.

The executions change the phrase ‘find a wealthy relative. Inherit your fortune’ to ‘find your fortune’ and ‘beat the casino and escape the daily grind’ to ‘beat the daily grind’.

Anny Havercroft, director of brand and marketing at Yahoo7, said in a statement: “Australians have a voracious appetite for finance-related content, and Yahoo Finance has a strong heritage of delivering in a dynamic way.

“In-keeping with this legacy, we are proud to be talking to a new generation of Aussie investors who are making their money work in fresh and engaging ways. This campaign is demonstrative of our commitment to the ongoing support of our major brands in our business.”
