Yahoo!7 promotes COO Stuart Sayers to CEO

Media network Yahoo!7 has announced the appointment of current COO Stuart Sayers to the role of CEO, replacing former CEO Rohan Lund who has moved to COO of Seven West Media Group.

The announcement:

Yahoo!7 today announced that Stuart Sayers has been appointed to the role of Yahoo!7 Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective September 1, 2012. Sayers replaces Rohan Lund, who will transition to the role of Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Seven West Media Group.

Sayers has nearly 20 years of experience in business management and operations. Most recently, he was COO of Yahoo!7 where he was responsible for the company’s technology operations, editorial management, finance, human resources and transactional businesses.
