Yasmina Pinto departs HCF as head of brand

Yasmina Pinto has departed health insurer HCF as its head of brand after five years with the company.

Pinto has since taken on a role as AGL Energy’s head of brand and will be relocating to Melbourne.

Joining HCF in 2013 as its marketing and communications manager, Pinto was promoted to brand and marketing communications manager one year later.

Pinta is departing the company after five years

Posting to LinkedIn, Pinto said: “After five fantastic years, I’m leaving HCF to embark on a new career adventure.

“I leave with proud achievements and lots of wonderful memories packed into my heart. For those I’m deeply grateful. To all of my HCF family and friends, thanks for a wonderful ride.”

In a statement to Mumbrella, Pinto added: “Energy is an important and exciting sector undergoing lots of change and I’m looking forward to it.”

HCF has since appointed Lindsay Carter as its acting head of brand.

Pinto’s departure comes after a series of changes for the business including when its head of corporate affairs, Sarah Kelly, departed just weeks ago.

In June, HCF’s communications manager Laura Cairnduff also exited.

Cairnduff is now an internal communications manager at Canon Australia.

Meanwhile in November last year, HCF’s CMO Jenny Williams resigned to “explore new options”. Williams later announced her next move as the chief marketing officer at Compare the Market.

Pinto, Cairnduff and HCF have been approached for comment.
