Your favourite TV show ‘The Matildas’ is back on!

There was so much uproar after The Matildas were cancelled in the semi-finals last year, so your favourite TV show is back on the air again.

The Matildas will play an Olympic qualifier against Uzbekistan on Saturday, February 24, and the match is live and exclusive on Ten and Paramount+ from 7pm.

Assuming The Matildas beat Uzbekistan — which is kind of a given, given their world #47 ranking — they will play the second leg on February 28, live from 7.30pm. If they keep winning, you’ll see them again at the Paris Olympics. So, get behind them!

Paramount Australia’s team of football experts will also preview the Olympic run in the Matildas Magazine Show, airing on February 22, live at 10.30pm on 10 Bold and 10 Play.

Research from Deakin University found that the World Cup Australia v England match was watched by 64% of the entire population, once audiences in pubs, clubs, through Optus Sport (who wouldn’t reveal its ratings figures), and at dozens of ‘live sites’ across Australia, each of which drew thousands of viewers.
