Y&R’s David Joubert joins DDB Sydney as creative partner
WPP’s creative agency Y&R has lost its executive creative director, David Joubert, to DDB Sydney where he joins as a creative partner.
Joubert had been with Y&R for almost 10 years, joining the agency as a creative director in August 2008.
During his time at the agency he also held an ECD role for the Sydney operation and a group creative director role across Y&R, Ideaworks and Studio35.
In May last year, Paul Nagy joined Y&R Australia as its chief creative officer following the resignation of Ben Coulson.
Nagy said in a statement provided to Mumbrella: “Dave was an integral part of Y&R’s success over the last decade and we were sad to see him go. I have no doubt he’ll do great things over at DDB and we wish him all the best.”
DDB Sydney confirmed Joubert’s appointment but made no further comment.
