Zenith promotes Joshua Lee to national head of digital and data

Publicis Groupe media agency, Zenith, has promoted Joshua Lee to the newly-created role of national head of digital and data.

Lee has been with the agency for two years as head of digital in the Melbourne office, with the elevation effective immediately.

The new position will also see him join the national executive team. CEO Nickie Scriven said Lee has produced “exceptional work” during his time at Zenith.

“Josh has been charged with leading the ongoing product development of our specialist digital and data solutions, whilst ensuring that we are constantly identifying commercial and innovation opportunities for our clients,” she said.

“His appointment to a national role will further strengthen the digital and data expertise we provide our clients across all markets in Australia. I’m delighted to recognise Josh’s exceptional work and broad digital and data capability with this well-deserved promotion.”

Before joining Publicis, Lee spent five years at Dentsu, and has worked in both Canada and Australia.

“I’m incredibly excited to be taking on this new role at Zenith, working alongside a group of highly-talented people,” Lee said.

“I look forward to partnering more broadly with our clients to help steer them through the complexities of the current environment, with a focus on helping their businesses navigate through recovery, transformation and growth.”

Zenith recently promoted Elizabeth Baker to national head of investment, replacing Anthony Ellis, who stepped across to become managing director of Publicis Media Exchange after Sarah Keith’s departure.

In July, Mumbrella revealed Publicis is competing in a two-way pitch against Group M’s bespoke solution, Media Lab, for Westpac’s media account, while, in June, the agency won The Y’s (previously the YMCA) account. This year, it also won Tiktok’s local business.
