Singapore Tourism Board account to shift to Zenith from April

Media agency Zenith’s Australian operation will see Singapore Tourism Board shift across from MEC as part of a global realignment, the agency has confirmed.

As Mumbrella Asia reported earlier this month, the move followed a tender process which kicked off in October.

The new contract kicks off on April 1.

Karen Halligan, MD of Zenith Sydney, said: “We are very proud to be part of the global team that’s won Singapore Tourism. Singapore is a diverse and vibrant country, and we can’t wait to contribute to their success.”

Halligan said the new account win would complement the agency’s partnership with Singapore Airlines which has been running for two years.

Lynette Pang, assistant chief executive of Singapore Tourism Board, said: “We look forward to working closely with Zenith as an agile and bold agency partner to help us create new possibilities and thrive in today’s dynamic media environment. We are grateful to all agencies who had put in the time and effort to participate in this process, and appreciate all the thoughtful submissions we received”.

In November Zenith saw another major win, picking up Aldi from Maxus.
