Today Network launches new show in new national timeslot

A new time slot opens up on the Today Network tonight.

The announcement:

Today Network Dan Debuf and Maz Compton

Dan Debuf and Maz Compton will tonight make their debut on the Today Network, with the hot young duo set to skyrocket as they join the biggest line-up of national shows ever seen on the Today Network.

The Dan and Maz Show hits the airwaves in the innovative 6-8pm weekday shift, lightening the late commute mood and livening up dinner duty with fun chats, celebrity interactions and unpredictable moments.

Following Hamish and Andy (Mondays) and Fifi & Jules (Tuesday – Friday), The Dan and Maz Show is a fresh addition to an already stellar evening talent line-up on Today Network’s national  platform.

The Dan and Maz Show will take full advantage of Southern Cross Austereo’s multi-platform, first in entertainment media solutions approach, giving fans more in the way of on-air, online and digital content and interactions.

Dan said: “I can’t wait to tell Maz all about my Chihuahua, my newest schemes and theories, and my latest fun dinosaur facts, but now in the evening, and with all of Australia listening! Maz added: And I’m looking forward to changing the subject …”

Craig Bruce, Southern Cross Austereo Head of Content said, “Dan and Maz are one of the most exciting shows on radio right now, we’re so glad they’ve chosen to take the next phase of their journey with the Today Network.”

2013 will be Dan and Maz’s fourth year together on radio. Dan is a self-proclaimed eccentric who is passionate and endlessly curious about everything. And some might say he’s more feminine than Maz which would be tough, with Maz being a lovable, fearless, red-carpet-ready babe.

The Dan and Maz Show airs weeknights on 2Day FM Sydney, Fox FM Melbourne, B105 Brisbane, SAFM Adelaide, 92.9 FM Perth, NXFM Newcastle, Sea FM Gold Coast and across Southern Cross Austereo’s regional network.
