1 Kent Street ECD Simon Collins departs
WPP owned creative agency 1 Kent Street has seen the departure of its executive creative director, Simon Collins.
Collins left the agency in August to start his own consultancy and will continue to contract for WPPAUNZ.
In a statement to Mumbrella, a WPP AUNZ spokesperson said: “WPP AUNZ confirms that Simon Collins left 1 Kent Street in August to set up his own consultancy. He still consults for WPP AUNZ as he did for the Yes campaign.
“Collins creatively led WPP AUNZ’s specialist agency 1 Kent St for 18 months, producing campaigns including the Recognise campaign, and Australian Olympic Team awareness.”
WPPAUNZ is yet to announce a replacement for Collins who will continue to work with the agency until the position is filled.
Collins returned to Australia from his previous stint as an integrated creative consultant in London last year to set up 1 Kent Street.
