2024 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series Final set to make a splash in Sydney

The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series Final will again be hosted in Sydney, spanning November 8 – 10. And to help bring it to life, Canon Australia has signed on as the event’s official camera partner.

World Series champion and cliff diving legend Rhiannan Iffland’s Sydney Harbour helicopter dive in 2022 captured on a Canon EOS R3 as part of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series.

In its 15th season, Sydney, will once again host the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series Final, taking place at the Botanical Gardens of Sydney on November 8th – 10th, 2024. The day will see reigning champion and Aussie diver, Rhianna Iffland, take to the tower diving from 21 metres to defend her current 2023 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series title.

The winners of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series Final will be decided on Sunday 10th November 2024, awarded the King Kahekili trophy for both the best female and male high divers of the year. The global spectacle that is the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series will head to Sydney, celebrating over 100 tour stops. The event is brought to life by Camera Partner, Canon Australia, and location partner, The Botanical Garden of Sydney.

Australia’s own, Rhiannan Iffland will defend her title, after securing her seventh King Kahekili trophy at the 2023 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series Final. Also, looking to defend her top three result from 2023 is fellow Australian diver Xantheia Pennisi, competing for the third time as a permanent fixture on the World Series roster.

The event will see divers tackle three seconds of aesthetic freefalls from up to 27 metres above the water, redefining the boundaries of human capability, these complex dives are performed with unparalleled precision at speeds in excess of 85 kilometres per hour.
