2Day FM’s amazing time-bending Taylor Swift review
Dr Mumbo would imagine that Taylor Swift makes for good social media fodder.
So he wasn’t surprised to see 2DayFM trying to grab a slice of the action around Taylor Swift’s Sydney concert.
“How amazing was @Taylorswift13?” the station burbled on Twitter at 10.15pm on Friday night, promoting the station as the place to listen to on the drive home from the stadium.

“How amazing was @TaylorSwift13?” it enthused again at 10.40pm.

Sadly these proved to be somewhat hypothetical questions at this point, with a big storm delaying Swift’s arrival onto stage until only a few minutes before the first tweet enthusing about what a great job she’d done.
And Swift remained on stage until 11.22pm, more than an hour after 2DayFM’s presumably pre-scheduled, pre-written tweetstream began and 20 minutes after it fizzled out.
How amazing was 2DayFM’s community manager? Not very.
Dr. Mumbo, never doubt the power of prescience.
But you probably already knew I was going to say that.
