303 Perth wins latest Sirens round with Ikea ad
303 advertising in Perth has won the next round of Commercial Radio Australia’s Siren Awards with an effort for Ikea.
Written by Richard Berney and Mark Fretten, the “Mutant bargains” ad uses comedy to highlight bargains available at the store. It was voted the best work in the single ad category of the latest round of the Sirens.
The winner of the campaign category was an ad for book publisher Hachette promoting a Stephen King book. It came from Us, the Sydney agency recently rebranded from Razor Junior.
The Ikea ad was also the overall winner.
