Coca-Cola Amatil appoints Andrew Hewett as GM of external communications

Coca-Cola Amatil has appointed Andrew Hewett as group general manager external communications.
Hewitt has been working with Coca-Cola Amatil, which is the bottler and distributer of Coca-Cola and SPC Ardmona brands in Australia, since 2014. Most recently he was the head of communications for Coca-Cola Amatil in New Zealand and Fiji.
“Coca-Cola Amatil is one of the largest beverage manufacturer’s in Australia, with more than 15,000 employees across Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Samoa. Such a large footprint brings about significant opportunities from an external communication perspective whether the media is owned, earned or paid,” Hewett told Mumbrella.

Previously he was the corporate affairs manager for HJ Heinz. He has also been a breakfast news editor/reader at Triple M Melbourne.
In his new role Hewett will oversee external communication requirements, owned and earned, across all CCA markets including Australia, New Zealand and Indonesia.
