Bauer Media head of trade marketing and communications to depart for role with Nine

Luke RobinsonBauer Media head of trade marketing and communications, Luke Robinson, will leave the company to return to Nine Entertainment Co., to head up its trade marketing team.

Nine’s director of content partnerships, digital product specialist sales and trade marketing, Lizzie Young, told Mumbrella: “We are thrilled to have Luke returning to Nine; he’s very experienced and has a great understanding of the culture and content of Nine, we’re very pleased to have him back on the team.”

Robinson first joined Bauer Media in January 2014 as trade marketing manager before being promoted in 2015 to his current role.
Prior to Bauer, for three years Robinson was the marketing manager of Australian artists at Sony Music Entertainment. Prior to that he was the network marketing manager – trade, at Nine.

Robinson was with Nine from October 2007 when he joined the company’s media agency sales team, before moving to a trade marketing executive role in May 2009. He was then promoted to Network marketing manager – trade, in September 2011.

Robinson, who declined to comment on his appointment, begins his role at Nine on March 27.
