Guardian Australia grows Guardian Labs team and appoints commercialisation director
Guardian Australia has appointed Caroline Jeppe as group account director of Guardian Labs in the Melbourne office, with James Young joining the publisher as commercialisation director.
Jeppe, who joins The Guardian after two years with New York based Huge where she was a senior content strategist, will be responsible for driving content solutions and sponsorship revenue for the Victorian commercial division.
Her appointment comes as James Young joins Guardian Australia as commercialisation director.
Young will be responsible for overseeing the programmatic trading, commercial revenue and advertising operations for the local edition. He will be focused on developing strategies for Guardian Australia’s data-driven and programmatic advertising. Her will also be responsible for overseeing the delivery of ad units for The Pangaea Alliance in APAC.
Prior to Guardian Australia, Young was the head of advertising for eBay Australia where he managed all programmatic strategies, advertising budgets for display advertising and commercial partnerships.
