CROCMEDIA ANNOUNCES UNPRECEDENTED OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOUTH AUSTRALIAN BRAND PARTNERS

Crocmedia launched its 2018 footy season in Adelaide with an exciting line-up of opportunities tailored to local brand partners – including stadium media with Port Adelaide Football Club.

Now an official partner of the Port Adelaide Football Club, Crocmedia is the exclusive third-party agent for all LED inventory. This will include full stadium takeover at all 11 Port Adelaide home games at Adelaide Oval in 2018, giving brands the potential to not only reach the 53,500 fans at stadium capacity but a TV audience of over 700,000 people.

The unique partnership also unlocked an opportunity for Crocmedia client McDonald’s to become the Official Restaurant of the Port Adelaide Football Club which will see Macca’s also take naming rights of Crocmedia’s AFL Nation pre-game and half-time show on the big screen as well as receive activation rights at Port Adelaide home
games.

The company also unveiled its 2018 AFL Nation call team with the flagship local commentary led by Kane Cornes, Malcolm Blight and Tom Rehn – calling Port Adelaide and Adelaide Crows games from Adelaide Oval each week.

The 2018 AFL Nation national line-up includes Crocmedia’s recently appointed Chief Sports Caller Gerard Whateley along with Sandy Roberts, Stephen Quartermain, Peter Donegan, Terry Wallace and Gary Lyon among the seasoned talent.

Crocmedia will also be launching Power Radio where for the first time, listeners in regional South Australia have access to a parochial call of Port Adelaide home games – called by Tom Rehn and passionate former players Kane Cornes, Darryl Wakelin and Warren Tredrea. Crocmedia SA Commercial Director Alisha Whelan said 2018 was shaping up as a bumper year for Crocmedia in South Australia.

“The signing of Malcolm Blight to co-host Sportsday SA with Kane Cornes late last year was the beginning of many exciting initiatives for us in 2018. Our partnership with Port Adelaide Football Club enables us to offer our brand partners exclusive opportunities in the stadium environment including LED and activations; while AFL Nation gives brands the opportunity to be part of Australia’s biggest and best AFL broadcast featuring the most experienced and talented call team in the country,” Ms Whelan said.

Crocmedia’s corporate suite at Adelaide Oval will be managed by its events arm Ballpark Entertainment offering hospitality packages and experiences at sporting events and concerts for interested clients.
