Hawthorn v Adelaide sees 608,000 tune in, while Broncos v Rabbitohs draws 476,000

Last night’s AFL game which saw Hawthorn Football Club beat the Adelaide crows drew a metro TV audience of 608,000, across Melbourne and Adelaide, on Seven.

In the NRL Nine had 476,000 viewers in Sydney and Brisbane tuning in to watch the Brisbane Broncos face off against South Sydney Rabbitohs at Suncorp Stadium.

Seven’s Better Homes & Gardens was the most watched show of the night with 648,000 viewers tuning in at 7.30pm. 

The ABC’s detective drama Grantchester also performed well pulling in 579,000 viewers at 8.30pm.

In news Seven News won the 6pm bulletin with 981,000 to 928,000 but Nine won in the 6.30pm timeslot with 900,000 to 894,000.

Ten’s highest rating show of the evening was Eyewitness News at 5pm which drew 537,000.
