A MAFS dinner party bombshell makes for another night of Nine wins

Married At First Sight on Nine has topped Wednesday metro programming, pulling in 855,000 metro viewers and topping all three advertising demos.

ABC’s Hard Quiz followed the show in entertainment, with 513,000 metro viewers. Meanwhile, Seven’s The Chase Australia and Home and Away pulled in a respective 453,000 and 452,000 metro viewers.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 8 March, Married at First Sight on Nine last Wednesday was the #1 program nationally with 1.963 million Total TV viewers, including 646,000 on BVOD and the biggest uplift of 65%.

ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering saw 382,000 metro viewers tune in, while Nine’s Under Investigation and Hot Seat saw 348,000 and 338,000, respectively. Ten’s The Dog House pulled in 307,000 metro viewers.

The Seven News and Seven News at 6:30 came in on equal first in news programming on Wednesday with 813,000 metro viewers, followed by Nine News at 6:30 with 701,000 and Nine News with 683,000. Nine’s A Current Affair picked up 615,000 metro viewers, while ABC News had 552,00 and ABC’s 7:30 report had 426,000 metro viewers.

Nine won the evening, taking a 34.9% share, ahead of Seven with 25.6% and ABC on 17.6%, while Ten had 13.7%.

Nine also had the top-rating primary channel, while the top-rating multichannel was 7Two, with 3.2%.
