A Single Man
This week we have tickets for the impressive directorial debut of fashion designer Tom Ford, A Single Man.
Against all odds and defying expectations, Ford has delivered a first rate picture, with an Oscar-nominated, BAFTA-winning performance from Colin Firth.
Firth plays a gay university professor trying to overcome the sudden death of his partner in 1960s California. A potential new love affair could bring him closer to redemption, but the memories of the dead lover are too strong.
