AANA announces RESET Conference 2015 line up

The AANA has announced the line up for its 2015 RESET Conference.

The announcement: 

The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) has today released details of its major conference RESET 2015, which will be held in Sydney on 28 October with registration available now at aana.com.au/reset

‘AANA Members asked us to deliver an event that rivalled the quality of RESET 2014. So we’ve put together a world class line-up to challenge, inspire, and disrupt their thinking as they prepare for the coming year. Our seven global speakers will absolutely deliver on challenging marketers across many aspects of their expanding remit,’ said Sunita Gloster, CEO of the AANA.

The AANA announces today the first four speakers:

  • Bruce McColl, Global Chief Marketing Officer, Mars

As CMO, Bruce has placed a heavy emphasis on blending scientific rigor with creative excellence. This has created a powerful growth model within Mars. The application of this model has sharpened Mars’ global brand strategies. It is fuelling a rapid transfer of broad business solutions that have driven growth in operating units across the globe.

  • Syl Saller, Chief Marketing Officer, Diageo plc

Syl Saller is the CMO of Diageo plc and a member of Diageo’s Executive Committee. Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks business with a collection of iconic brands including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Baileys, Captain Morgan, Tanqueray and Guinness. Diageo has over 400 brands and operates in 180 countries. Syl oversees all Global Marketing, Design, Innovation, R&D and Reserve, the luxury division, worldwide.

  • Karen Blackett OBE, Chief Executive Officer, MediaCom UK

Karen has been in media for 20 years, currently running the largest media agency in the UK, MediaCom.

In her role as CEO, Karen controls £1.2bn of media billings, manages over 1,083 people and in 2014 led the agency to win over £119m of new business. Karen has also been personally recognised in the industry, featuring twice in Management Today’s 35 Under 35, and five times in the Power List of the UK’s 100 most influential black people – most recently this year, where she came in at Number One.

  • Graham Fink, Chief Creative Officer, Ogilvy & Mather China

Graham joined Ogilvy & Mather China in 2011 as Chief Creative Officer and continues to lead over 300 creatives in over 20 offices. Graham is behind some of the advertising world’s most celebrated images and campaigns including British Airways, Silk Cut, Benson & Hedges, Land Rover, Dixons, Ariston and many more. In 2001 he set up his own production company, Thefinktank and as a keen photographer, his work has been used in numerous campaigns including the 2012 London Olympic Games Bid and Canon. By 2014 he curated his first solo art exhibition ‘Nomads’ comprising of photography, painting and animation at renowned London gallery, Riflemaker.
