AANA taps WPP’s Greg Graham to run projects as hunt for new CEO continues

WPP AUNZ group marketing director Greg Graham is to temporarily step away from his role to take on a project position with the AANA running its events as the search for a replacement CEO of the association continues.

Greg Graham on secondment to the AANA

Current CEO Sunita Gloster officially finishes at the AANA at the end of the month to take on an executive role at the Ten Network, which was placed into administration two weeks ago.

The hunt for a replacement executive is being undertaken by Hourigan International, but Gloster’s departure comes at a crucial time for the AANA as it begins final preparations for its annual RESET conference.

Graham’s project position will involve overseeing the completion of preparations for the conference as well as other AANA events until a new CEO is appointed.

The association announced his secondment in an internal email to members.

“Greg, who will be known to many of you, is an industry veteran when it comes to events and training. I am delighted he will join the AANA team in the role of Project Director to help us specifically deliver on our event calendar to you from now till the end of the year,” the email said.

As Project Director, Greg will add resource to the AANA team across key events, particularly the AANA’s flagship event for members and industry, RESET, while the search for a new CEO continues.”

Graham said he would return to his role at WPP at the end of the secondment.
