SHOOT ME! FFS
Annabel is very serious and factual, the other guy is an oxygen thief. Why ABC would you subject us to good cop, bad cop television that will be full of left swipes at the installed government.
Truly the ABC does not learn, this will perform worse than Tom Ballard… and that’s saying something!
Last time I checked, Annabel was not a guy but did have a sense of humour.
Try it sometime.
You can’t blame anyone for swiping left on the stalled government.
Oh wise ABC-basher, please tell me what your ideal ABC program looks like? If not political satire – a genre that will ideally help its viewers think critically about politics and the media – then what? What programming do you want the ABC to produce that you think better fits the phrase ‘in the public interest?’ Do you want an ABC Bachelor spin-off? Back to back one-man opinion shows like the Bolt report? Bold and the Beautiful re-runs? Perhaps they could try to flog crappy jewellery to the elderly like TVSN? What is it you want?
What’s your address?
another waste of public money, u CANNOT make a comedy, and as for putting that extreme leftie pickering in charge will be another reason not to watch. wake up ABC and save your money for shows like jack irish, bloody brilliant
Bet it’s ALL leftists grooming regime media
Expect plenty of jokes about anyone who isn’t from Melbourne
It will be that kind of twee, “in-the-know” humour, for smug Friends of the ABC types who populate writers festivals and no-platform all new and interesting ideas. They’ll be watching from their safe-spaces in case they’re triggered by “white privilege”.
Maybe if Annabel can dial-back Pickering’s angry-Lefty bitterness – which is so predictably boring – it will be watchable, but I doubt it.
I am sure that I saw Crabb interviewed in a most serious fashion by Sales or someone on the issues of Liberal leadership. I took that to suggest she was a journalist specialising in politics. Yet it seems they were joking.
Is 730 now a comedy? WTF??
He is a waste of oxygen because he is a left wing comedian? I have voted Liberal for many years but I find the new breed of militant conservatives disturbingly unfunny and I am glad the ABC offers different perspectives to the Murdoch press.
Don’t worry about the ABC taking the piss out of the government.
They’ll only get one season before the election robs them of that opportunity.
PS… I am not left wing, and obviously I’m not right wing. I am centrist. So don’t tell me I’m an angry lefty.
I turned in late and thought it was real but then I got it.
Very stimulating.
Could we have a programme prior to yours called SWAP which switches gender graphically to the news etc…..
In regards to the sugar limit card, does anyone who is diabetic or hypoglycaemic get exemptions? It seems like a detrimental infringement to abate just a portion of the gutenous population.
