JWT says ‘start with Vegemite’

start with vegemiteA new series of ads for Vegemite by JWT  run in reverse slow motion as part of a campaign promoting the brand as part of an easy to make, healthy snack.

Throughout the ads, which run at both 15 and 30 seconds, various breakfast meals are shown being made in reverse. The last thing shown being taken off the bread is the Vegemite, at which point the creative line “start with Vegemite” shows across the screen.

The ad was directed by Revolver’s Bruce Hunt.

According to Kraft’s announcement: “The new campaign aims to open the lid on a world of ways to start with Vegemite, by showing Australians that they don’t have to stop at toast when they start with Vegemite spread.”
