Jenni Hayward, head of events at UnLtd said: “In the last couple of years, UnLtd events have experienced major growth as we’ve diversified our events portfolio to range from surfing and sailing to seminars and our annual Big Dream gala experience.

“Our industry loves a bit of healthy competition and taking part in the UnLtd events is a great way to combine our love for sports with giving back. There are some great golfers in our industry so setting up a golf event was a bit of a no-brainer and we’re delighted with how many people joined in to support the event.”

The event was sponsored by Ooh Media and included teams from ACM, Astus, Athletes Voice, Foxtel Media, Gum Gum, Group M, Initiative, Maud, Nine, Nova Entertainment, Ooh Media, PHD, Posterscope, Publicis Media, REA Group, Seven West Media, Ten, The Trade Desk, Universal Music, Val Morgan and an UnLtd All Stars team, sponsored by Verizon Media.

Kristian Waller, NSW agency sales director at Ooh! Media said: “As media folk, we are in the fortunate position where we have opportunity to give back to the community, which is why this forms part of our core values at oOh! Media.

“Naturally, we saw being involved in the first-ever UnLtd Open as an Unmissable opportunity for us to do just that – and have some fun doing it! It was a fantastic day out on the greens with our peers and competitors whilst raising funds for the important work that UnLtd do. We cannot wait to be involved next year!”

The competition involved mixed teams of four over 18 holes. ACM won with 52.75, followed by Gum Gum on 54.374. Nine took home the fairest team prize, while best-dressed went to Astus.

Penny Kaleta, national sales & partnerships director at ACM said: “We are so proud to be taking home the inaugural trophy, especially amongst such stiff competition.

We loved spending the day outside with our colleagues and competitors for such a good cause and winning the trophy just topped what was already a great day. We’ll be back next year to defend our trophy.”
