Clemenger BBDO’s Matt Pearce joins Fifty Five 5 as director

Planning director at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne, Matt Pearce, has joined data insights company Fifty Five 5 as a director of its Melbourne office.

Pearce was at Clemenger BBDO for seven years, and also spent time at AMV BBDO in London.

The appointments follow the merger between Fifty Five 5 and Gal Kal that occurred last year. Pearce previously spent three years at Gal Kal as a senior qualitative researcher between 2009 and 2012.

Pearce said of his appointment: “If working at a creative agency has taught me anything, it’s the power of a precise story that can move individuals or businesses forward. I’m pumped to fuse that precision with a deep understanding of the consumer.”

Pearce joins Kristy Richards who joined Fifty Five 5 in March and is also a director of the Melbourne office.

Richards was previously the strategy director of The Lab and has worked at Added Value.

Fifty Five 5 has also recently hired Matthew Scott as a consultant, Thomoas Barbera as senior account manager and Charlie Rose Mitton.
