The Communications Council’s Ad School has formed a partnership with DMG Radio Australia.

The announcement:

AdSchool, powered by The Communications Council, today announces a new partnership with dmg Radio Australia.

The alliance between AdSchool (Melbourne and Sydney) and dmg Radio Australia will highlight the extensive Advertising, Media and Marketing courses that AdSchool offers young professionals and provide practical commercial radio experience and insight on the Nova network.

dmg Radio Australia will support AdSchool’s 2011 courses, providing media, marketing and production support to assist with driving AdSchool’s initiatives, and staff members from relevant functions at dmg Radio Australia will offer time as Adschool guest speakers.

Sudeep Gohil, Chair of the Education Committee said: “We’re really pleased with the partnership with Nova. They are a great, young and dynamic radio station that fits well with the AdSchool brand. A strong media partner for a non for profit organisation like ours is a great support in reaching those that have the ambition to be the best and the brightest in the industry.”

The partnership between dmg Radio Australia and AdSchool will also see dmg’s sales teams upskilled in the areas of digital strategy and marketing.

Jenny Parkes, dmg Radio Australia Group Sales Director said, “dmg Radio Australia is focused on providing media solutions across a number of platforms. A partnership with The Communications Council’s AdSchool is the perfect fit for both companies, imparting our knowledge and experience to future professionals entering the industry and upskilling our sales force in digital marketing and strategy so our teams can best meet the needs of clients.”
