Ad Wrap: NAB supports Aussie rules; Comm Bank drives dreams; iSelect gets quirky; Jalna’s emojis

Mumbrella looks over some of the latest campaigns to hit our screens

NAB has highlighted the support it gives to Australian Rules Football with a new ad focused on the mini legends of the sport, with kids dressed as some of the icons of the sport, sporting bushy beards and tattoos.

The Commonwealth Bank‘s latest campaign shows how the bank can help people achieve their dreams by making today count. The ad features a boy jumping into a backyard pool, before it rewinds back in time to show him with his parents looking at the empty space in the years before the pool was built. It finishes with a voiceover telling people to talk to the bank about advice, super and insurance.

iSelect is continuing its run of quirky ads, this time featuring an old woman trying to explain to her deaf husband that they are paying for pregnancy health insurance cover they don’t need, with the misunderstanding leading to surprising result.

Jalna, the pot-set yoghurt brand, has launched a series of three 15-second TVCs to run during Seven’s Olympics coverage. Each of the ads features a fruit as an emoji going through a range of emotions as it enjoys the yoghurt before running out to find another pot. The works was created by Cain & Able.
