Adelaide and Brisbane see growth in September radio ad revenue; Sydney, Melbourne and Perth slip

Radio ad revenue grew in Adelaide and Brisbane last month and declined in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, according to figures released by Commercial Radio Australia today.  

The South Australian capital recorded an 8.96% increase on revenue to $5.795 million in September, compared to the same time last year. Brisbane was up 0.96% to $9.602 million.

Sydney was down 0.3% to $18.796 million, Melbourne 0.47% to $18.713 million and Perth fell 1.32% to $7.875 million.

There was a 0.51% increase in total revenue across the five-city metro markets.

For the July, August, September quarter revenue fell 0.4% compared to the same period in 2010.
