Adelaide radio ratings: HIT 107 big winner while Nova 91.3 fades

FIVEaa took the lead in Adelaide for 2017’s third radio survey with a gain of 0.7 audience share points to 12.3, overtaking Mix102.3 which continued to lead the FM band despite dropping 0.4 points to 12.1.

HIT 107 had the survey’s biggest gain with a full percentage point jump to 9.0 while Triple J clawed back half its previous survey losses by adding 0.5 percentage points to its audience share to end with 7.1 of the survey.

Nova 91.9 was the biggest loser of the survey, falling 0.8 with ABC Adelaide suffering a 0.7 drop that dropped the station into third place on the survey.

In the breakfast slot, Mix’s Jodie and Soda maintained their FM lead despite a one percentage point drop to 11.1% with Triple M’s Roo and Ditts narrowing the gap by picking up 0.2 points to 10.5%.

On AM, ABC Adelaide’s Matthew Abraham and David Bevan saw a drop of 0.5 points to 15.2% but kept their overall lead over FIVEaa’s Dave and Will who barely moved with 14.6% of the audience.

Nova’s Kate Ritchie, Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold – who dominated in Brisbane with the highest audience share of any radio show across the country – maintained their lead in the drive slot despite a 1.3 point decline to 12.1%, beating Triple M’s Jars & Louie who picked up 1.3 points to finish at 11.1%.

On the AM band, FIVEaa maintained its drive-time lead with a jump of 0.9 points to 11.5%, giving it second place overall while ABC Adelaide gained 0.7 to 10.7%.
