Radio Ratings: Adelaide – Mix102.3 holds onto top spot again

ARN’s Mix102.3 boosted its overall audience share, maintaining its top spot in Adelaide with a share of 14.7 per cent, up by 0.3 share points from the last ratings period according to the latest  ratings from Nielsen.

Mix102.3’s Fun Breakfast with Jodie, Mark and Snowy continued to lose its audience share however maintained its spot as the number one FM breakfast show with an audience share of 12.6 per cent, down 0.2 share points from the last ratings period.

Nova91.9’s breakfast team Lewis & Lowe maintained its audience share of 10.1 per cent.

ABC891′s Breakfast with Matthew Abraham and David Bevan continued its breakfast dominance, with a boosted audience share from 16.9 per cent to 17.4 per cent.

Fiveaa’s breakst duo Keith Conlon and Jane Reilly boosted their audience from a share of 13.7 per cent to 14.5 per cent. Keith Conlon announced his retirement from the top rating show at the end of the year on Friday.

Nova91.9 and Fiveaa are owned by DMG Australia.

The drive time slot continues to tighten in Adelaide with Mix102.3’s Sean Craig Murphy continuing to slowly lose his audience share despite maintaining the top position for the time slot. He now holds 14.6 per cent of the audience share, with Nova91.9’s national Meshel, Tim and Marty edging closer with a share of 13.8 per cent, up from 13.2 per cent. The Fiveaa Sports Show slipped from second position into third with its audience share dipping by 0.2 share points from 13.6 per cent to 13.4 per cent.

Last month Nova announced Meshel Laurie will be leaving the national drive show to co-host Nova Melbourne’s breakfast show from next year. Nova confirmed Tim Blackwell and Marty Sheargold will return next year in the drive time slot.

In the 7pm to midnight time slot, Fiveaa’s Paul Makin program’s audience continues to fall away with  a share point loss of 3.7. Makin’s audience share now stands at 10.1 per cent.
