Adelaide’s Mix 102.3 announces breakfast lineup changes as Jodie Oddy heads off on maternity leave

Australian Radio Network’s Mix 102.3 has announced the lineup changes for its breakfast show, as host Jodie Oddy heads off on maternity leave for the rest of the year.

Day announcer Michelle Murphy will join Oddy’s co-host Mark ‘Soda’ Soderstrom on the Jodie & Soda Breakfast Show for two weeks from Monday September 30, before Seven presenter Jessica Adamson takes the reins for eight weeks starting October 14 until the show wraps for Christmas.

Oddy celebrated her last day before maternity leave on Friday

Mix 102.3 currently holds the top spot in the breakfast slot for FM radio in Adelaide. As of GfK ratings survey five, Oddy and Soderstrom held a share of 11.6%, topping the FM stations, but sitting behind AM channels Five AA (13.8%) and ABC Adelaide (13.4%).

Mix has also held the top spot overall in Adelaide for 26 consecutive surveys, sitting at 13.3% as of survey five in August, with closest rival Five AA on 11.0%.

Adamson will take over for six weeks in October

Adamson has worked with Soderstrom previously at Seven.

Oddy celebrated 10 years on air in 2017 and has spent six in the breakfast slot with Soderstrom.
