ADMA champions leading female marketers with ‘pay it forward’ initiative

In recognition of the upcoming International Women’s Day, the Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) has called on the industry to ‘pay it forward’ and celebrate women who are shaping the industry.

Building on the momentum that started last year, ADMA is once again asking marketers to nominate the women who they think inspires, leads, and drives change in the industry.

This year, there’s a “special twist”, as ADMA has specifically asked last year’s nominees to return the favour, pay it forward, and help create a ripple effect of recognition and empowerment.

“Recognition is one of the most powerful ways we can lift each other up, and this International Women’s Day, we’re turning it into a movement,” said Andrea Martens, CEO of ADMA.

“When you acknowledge someone’s impact, it not only validates their hard work but also inspires them to do the same for another.”

Aligned with the theme of ‘Accelerate Action’ this International Women’s Day – which takes place on March 8 – the initiative aims to shine a light on the women “moving marketing forward for the better”.

Nominees will have their achievements celebrated across ADMA’s social channels and newsletters, reaching over 80,000 industry professionals. Two randomly-selected nominees will also receive ADMA IQ education vouchers to support their continued professional growth.

“By paying it forward, we’re not just celebrating individual successes – we’re creating a wave of visibility, confidence, and opportunity for women across the industry,” Martens continued.

“Let’s keep the momentum going and ensure no achievement goes unnoticed.”

Nominations are open until March 3, and winners of the draw will be notified on March 10.
