AdNews names Rochelle Burbury as consulting editor
Former Access PR boss Rochelle Burbury has returned to the trade press after six years in public relations.
Burbury, who sold her stake in the agency late last year, has been named as consulting editor at AdNews, the magazine announced.
Her previous stint in the trade press included six years with B&T magazine, eventually becoming editor. She also edited the media and marketing sections of The SMH, The Australian and the AFR. She then worked at M&C Saatchi’s PR operation Open Dialogue, before a falling out with the management saw her and business partner Andrea Kerekes strike out on their won to launch Access PR.
Burbury’s appointment comes shortly after AdNews named Damian Francis as editor of its magazine and David Blight as editor of its online operation.
